Just to let you all know, I have at last made a long overdue decision on what I am going to do for motive power.
Currently, my 500 has a slightly "warmed over" 650cc version installed.
I have considered removing and installing either a Mazda rotary, a Honda VFR750 or a DC electric motor (I even went as far as purchasing the Honda VFR750 engine).
However, after much reflection, and input from my wife, who considered it a loss of vehicle value if I was to swap power plants (she who must be obeyed), I have decided to retain the 650cc engine (later possibly increasing in capacity) and initially install some Abarth components (I will list and display those later in the "write-up"). These parts are ordered, but awaiting my Dellorto FZD semi-downdraught carburettor, from Italy, to complete the package.
Hope to install when the weather improves and then complete a "write-up".
Now that I have decided to stay with the two-cylinder engine, I later plan to further increase power, possibly with a turbo?
